Washingtons deal will allow him to try out for the Pacers, and their G league team, which players on a two-way contract are given up to 45 days to be an an NBA roster.
After a great 2020-21 season for the Buckeyes and a successful summer, Washington decided to forgo another season with the Buckeyes in hopes of being the next Ohio State player drafted since Keita Bates-Diop in 2018. We wish Washington good luck as he continues to follow his dream.
I still think he should have stayed in school, but best of luck to him.
