Ohio State Completes Roster, Adds Croatian Center

The final scholarship for the basketball Buckeyes will go to 7’1” Croatian center Ivan Njegovan who comes to Columbus via the ABA and Croatian premier leagues and most recently played for Croatia in the Euro U20B Championships averaging 6.1 points, 6.6 rebounds and 1.6 blocks per game and finished the tournament with a double double, scoring 15 to go along with 16 rebounds and 3 blocks. Njegovan will enroll at Ohio State as a freshman in the fall in time to join Coach Diebler’s team prior to practice opening. He adds much needed post depth and will compete for the backup center position behind or alongside Aaron Bradshaw, battling with returning sophomore Austin Parks for minutes at the 5.
