Bold Predictions: Michigan State
We are now 2 days away from the fourth game of the season for Ohio State, as they take on Michigan State. Here are our top 3 bold predictions we would like to see happen during the game. Feel free to share and comment on your own bold predictions!
1. Ohio State shuts out Michigan State.
It was clear from the press conferences this week that both Ryan Day and Jim Knowles was not happy with the defensive performance against Marshall, which was highlighted that they did not name any champions on defense. I think going on the road is always a challenge, especially the first game on the road, but I think the Silver Bullets respond and post a shutout.
2. Will Howard Rushes for a Touchdown.
Will Howard has had a rushing touchdown the last two games, and I think he will get his third in 3 games. One of the elements of the Ohio State offense we have not seen as much is the running game with the quarterback, and with the competition ramping up, we might see this new wrinkle in the offensive game plan.
3. Ohio State Does Not Punt All Game.
Doubling down on the defense making a statement this game, I think the offense wants to keep improving as well, and as a result, they will not have a punt all game. This can include them holding the ball in victory formation in the end of the first or second half, but every other possession should result in points.
