A’mare Bynum, a 6’8” 210 pound four star power forward from Omaha, NE via Branson (Mo) Link Academy has committed to Jake Diebler and Ohio State for the 2025 class. Listed as the #87 overall player by On3 and the #6 player in Missouri, Bynum chose Ohio State over Nebraska, Iowa, LSU, Xavier and Colorado. He joins 4-star guard Dorian Jones in a class that will likely grow by another player or two.  Bynum is a highly athletic post that can play both the 4 and the 5 with a high motor who can get to the glass and uses his athleticism to create mismatches on both ends. He will need to add some muscle to bang with the big bodies of the Big Ten, but this is a huge get for the program as Coach Diebler continues to recruit at a high level. Additionally, he plays with Ohio State target, 4-star guard, Jerry Easter II at Link Academy, who he took his official visit to Ohio State with and there has been some talk they may want to play together at the collegiate level.
