Bold Predictions: Purdue

The Buckeyes returns home to host Purdue for their third straight Big Noon Kickoff game. Here are our bold predictions for the game.

1. Jeremiah Smith and Emeka Egbuka score 2 touchdowns each.

Jeremiah Smith surpassed the Ohio State freshman receiving yards record against Penn State, and the two star receivers will be going against a secondary that has been porous. I see both of them getting two touchdowns and over 100 yards.

2. Ohio State rushes for over 300 yards.

The rushing offense has not been consistent, and a part of that has to do with the injuries at offensive line. If the Buckeyes are sticking with their line combination, I can see the Buckeyes trying to get them as much time together in live reps as possible. I think both Judkins and Henderson rush for over 100 yards, and get a touchdown each.

3. Ohio State scores 60 points.

The Buckeyes have yet to score over 56  points this season, even against overmatched opponents, This game would be the next opportunity to score 60 or more points.
