Bold Predictions: Northwestern

Ohio State will play their 4th noon kickoff game in a row, and it will finish the season with noon kickoffs as they head to Chicago to play Northwestern in Wrigley Field. Here are our bold predictions for the game.

1. Ohio State has a defensive touchdown.

Maybe this is a not so bold prediction after they had one last week, but I think to keep giving this unit more confidence to finish the month, a defensive touchdown would be a demoralizing moment for the Wildcats who are trying to salvage a lost season.

2. Judkins and Henderson have over 200 yards.

The duo has been fantastic, and I think the Buckeyes are still working on getting game reps for their blended offensive line. The best way to get them confidence is by running it down their opponents throats, and the Buckeyes have the two best running backs in the country not names Ashton Jeanty.

3. Jeremiah Smith and Emeka Egbuka have over 200 yards receiving combined.

The pass defense for Northwestern is not great, and there is not anyone in their secondary that can keep up with those two receivers. If they Buckeyes want to put this game away early and get out with a win, just let their playmakers make plays, and these two are two of the best.
