Buckeyes Add Top 2025 Prospect

Dorian Jones, a 6’5” 160 lb four star shooting guard from Richmond Heights, Ohio announced his intention to join Jake Diebler and the Ohio State Buckeyes basketball team, choosing the Buckeyes over Michigan, Missouri and Rutgers. Jones is a consensus top 75 player and 247 ranks him as the 13th best shooting guard nationally and 2nd best prospect in Ohio. Originally offered by Chris Holtmann and his staff, Jones’ interest didn’t waiver with Coach Diebler in charge. Jones is an explosive athlete and playmaker with an ability to not only shoot off the bounce, he has the range to knock down jumpers from distance as well. Additionally, Jones possesses a high motor and excels as an on ball defender as well. He is the first commit in what will likely be a small ’25 class with the current roster possessing only 2 players exhausting eligibility after the upcoming season.
